Paul was asked to create a garden for the Royal National Institute of Blind People that would be re-built as a garden space at a newly built hospital in the Midlands.  Paul spent time with children with long term conditions and varying degrees of sight issues to understand better the type of space they would enjoy, be stimulated by and could use additionally as an outdoor learning space.  The garden makes use of a variety of textures, included pitted paving, which the children particularly expressed excitement over.  Paul also designed a rain pavilion, which allowed water to make varying pitched noises.
